TEMPO system



The "TEMPO System" is accredited to quality indicator enumeration in food products by AFNOR, internationally recognized institution. The quality indicators that can be determined with the TEMPO system include:

  • Total aerobic mesophilic flora
  • Total and/or thermotolerant coliforms
  • E. Coli
  • Staphylococcus Aureus
  • Enterobacteriaceae
  • Yeasts and molds
  • Lactobacilli.

TEMPO allows to get faster results than the traditional method (ie 24 - 48 hours) and also allows a faster qualification and orientation of the raw materials, corrective actions more quickly in the event of non-compliance, accelerated release of finished products and a better stock rotation.



Foods and surface swabs.



The culture media used with the TEMPO system contain fluorescence indicators. Based on the number and size of the fluorescent or non-fluorescent wells of the appropriate cards in which is loaded the sample to be analyzed, the TEMPO system, through a calculation of MPN type, derives the number of microorganisms initially present in the sample.
