A Bridge Between Research and Business: The Regional Competence Center on Agro-Food Productions is inaugurated
The future of the Campanian agro-food sector restarts from scientific innovation and a synergistic bond with the territory. On September 14, 2005, within the prestigious setting of the Teatro dell’Aula Magna at the University of Salerno, the important inaugural conference took place, titled:
“The Regional Competence Center on Agro-Food Productions as a support for the development of the productive system”
The event, organized by the Salerno University, marked a fundamental milestone for the local productive sector, establishing itself as a true platform for technology transfer and the enhancement of excellence.
Putting it into practice: ribbon-cutting at the laboratories
To crown the day of study, the event moved directly to the field with the official inauguration of the Regional Competence Center’s laboratories (Laboratory V) at the Fisciano Campus.
This state-of-the-art facility was created with the goal of translating scientific research into concrete solutions, tailored to make Campanian agro-food companies more competitive and ready to meet the challenges of the global market.

At the conclusion of the conference, the inauguration ceremony for Laboratory V was held at the Regional Competence Center (Fisciano Campus). Following the ceremony, guests toured the new spaces and technological facilities, before concluding the day with a networking lunch.
