University of Salerno triumphs in Dublin: “Student of the Year” Award at the 36th EFFoST International Conference
The participation of the University of Salerno and ProdAl in the 36th EFFoST International Conference, held in Dublin, Ireland, has concluded with a prestigious international achievement. This event stands as one of the most significant global gatherings in the field of food science and technology, promoted by the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) to foster dialogue between academia and industry.

First prize: Student of the year 2022
The caliber of Salerno’s research was reaffirmed by the presentation of the prestigious “Student of the Year 2022” award. The award was granted to Annachiara Pirozzi for the excellence demonstrated in the oral presentation of the study: “Capillary suspensions for oil structuring with agri-food residues micronized via high-pressure homogenization in oil”. The research stands out for its innovative approach to utilizing agri-food waste, upgraded through high-pressure processes for fat structuring.
